The Astypalea Municipality required the enhancement of the existing official web-site. MPASS was chosen to design, develop and launch the upgraded responsive “astypalaia.gr” web-site. The goal of the website is to be an attractive, functional and modern tool. So, to promote the island as a travel destination and later to be a source of information and digital portal for the island citizens.

The new website meets the following needs:

  • First, promote the comparative advantages of the Island as a destination and the alternative forms of tourism.
  • Second, illustrate the vision of Astypalea. That is to get well known, for the innovative actions of global scope, as a smart sustainable eco-island and the first smoke-free island.
  • Third, modernize in terms of UX/UI the appearance of the website. As well, the homogenization in the display of the content.
  • Last but not least, boost the interest of travelers. Specifically, by helping visitors to find out useful information, such as: how to get to the island, where to stay, where to swim, where to eat, what to explore etc.

Furthermore, the full responsive web design provides multilingual support, SEO tools, analytics and a CMS that allows the updates of structure and content.
